l  Operation:
u  Power on
Press the function button about 2 seconds, blue light turns on, several seconds later blue light turns off, the red light keeps on. The device comes into standby mode.
u  Recording
Under standby mode, press the function button once, it starts recording video, the red light blinks. In order to saving power, about 6s later the indicator light will turn off automatically, but the device is still recording. If you want to check the device under which mode, just press once any button to turn on the indicator light. While the red indicator light blinks press the function button once to stop recording, and the file was saved, the indicator light keeps on, the device comes into standby mode.
Attention:
1. Under adequate light environment, keep the camera vertical and stable, you can get the best video and images within a certain distance via more than 50cm. In order to get the best audio quality, please do not shut out the MIC.
2. While recording, if the device is low battery, the camera will turn off automatically, but the camera will be saved the video file before power off.
u  Taking Photo
Under standby mode, press the mode switch button once, the blue light keeps on, the device enters into taking photo standby mode, press the function button once, you will see the blue light blinks once, it means the device was took 3 pictures and saved, then back into photo standby mode.
u  Recording audio alone
Under standby mode, shortly press mode switch button 2 times or under taking photo standby mode, shortly press mode switch button 1 time, the blue light and red light both keep on, indicating it is in the recording audio alone mode. Shortly press function button once, red light keeps on, blue light flashes, indicating it starts recording audio alone. In order to saving power, about 6s later the indicator light will turn off automatically, but the device is still taking audio alone. If you want to check the device under which mode, just press once any button to turn on the indicator light. While the indicator light blinks press the function button once to stop taking audio, and the file was saved, the blue light and red light keeps on, the device backs into taking audio alone standby mode.
Attention:
1. Under adequate light environment, keep the camera vertical and stable, you can get the best video and images within a certain distance via more than 50cm. In order to get the best audio quality, please do not shut out the MIC.
2. While recording audio alone, if the device is low battery, the camera will turn off automatically, but the camera will be saved the audio file before power off.
u  Charging
Under any mode, connect the device to computer via USB cable or connect to the charger. When connecting the device to computer, blue light keeps on, the red light flashes while being charged. When the red and blue light keep on, it shows the camera is fully charged. If low battery, the indicator light flashes blue and red, 6s later it will power off automatically.
u  Reset
Press the function button and mode switch button at the same time to reset when the camera can’t work normally.
Attention: When recording video/ audio, if you reset directly, the video file won’t be saved.
u  Playback
Connect the device to computer via USB cable under any mode and play back video on computer please make sure there is the playback software in the computer before connecting. Then click the removable disk, choose the video file to playback in the computer.
u  Switch off
Under any mode, press the function button for a long time to power off.
Attention: power off in this way, the video and audio file will be saved automatically, before power off.
u  Webcam
The device can be used as web camera.
Insert the user manual CD and Install the web camera driver software-STK02N 2.0.exe. Under standby mode, connect the camera to computer with USB cable. At this time, the computer will appear a standard web camera, and then release hand.
u  Setting time
It can display the recording date and time on the video, you can set it as follows:
1)     Create a file named “Time.TXT”
2)     Edit the file according to the format “2010.12.12 12:12:12”
3)     Copy the file to the root of the disk of the camera.
4)     When starting the camera next time, the time will be simultaneous to the time file.
l  Attention:
1)     You can check whether the device is fully charged when you can’t turn it on.
2)     In order to obtain better sound effect, please use the MIC cover with hole when recording video or audio.
3)     When take video continually, the system will generate a new video file automatically after each operation.
4)     Under adequate light environment, keep the camera vertical and stable, you can get the best video and images within a certain distance.
5)     Connect to computer: the time for computer with different system or configuration to identify the hardware is slightly different. During this period, please wait for a moment. If computer can’t identify, please make sure your operating system, drivers and USB interface cable are in good order, and then connect again. 
6)     Its built-in high-capacity polymer lithium battery does not have memory function, however you need to charge the battery fully after you have used out the battery in the first 5 times. In order to let the battery has a longer life; please keep charging for 30min to 1 hour even though the adaptor showed full charged. In order to avoid damage, please connect the camera with USB cable firstly, and then connect the computer for charging.
7)     Please do not use it under high impulsive force, shaking or in a strong magnetic field and weak electric field.
8)     When the memory capacity isn’t enough, the device will save the video file automatically then power off after the red and blue light flashes at the same time for 5s. If you need to continue to record, please release enough capacity at first.
