l  Operation
u  Insert the card
To start the device, insert a Micro-SD card to make its metal surface towards USB port after unscrewing the back cover according to arrow.
u  Switch on
Under power off mode, push power on/off to “ON” position, and press the function button for a few seconds, then blue light turns on, it comes to standby mode.
u  Resolution converting：
1.Under standby mode，resolution switch button to “VGA” mode in the left, the resolution of camera is 640×480.
2. Under standby mode，resolution switch button to “QVGA” mode in the right, the resolution of camera is 320﹡240.
u  Take a Video
l  Under standby mode，press the function button once then blue light blinks, and device comes to video recording mode; Press function button again, blue light keeps on, and device saves the data then back to standby mode.
l  Under standby mode，screw back cover of the device, press function button there, then indicating blue light blinks, and device comes to video recording mode; Press function button again, blue light keeps on, and device saves the data then back to standby mode.
Notice：Under video recording mode, if there was short of power, the device will have a sound DIDI while blue light blinks 5 seconds then comes to power off after saving data.
u  Switch off
Under standby mode or video recording mode, press function button for a few seconds, all lights will be off indicating device power off, or pull power on /off key to “OFF” position, all lights will be off indicating device power off  as well.
Notice: Under video recording mode, press the record/save button, device will save data first then power off.
u  Charging
Under any mode, please connect the camera to computer via USB cable and charge it. The red light at the top left corner will keeps on while being charged. When it is off, the camera is fully charged.
 
u  Playback on computer
After finishing video recording, switch resolution converting key to “VGA” mode in the left. Under standby mode, connect the camera to computer via the supplied USB cable, then click the removable disk and double click recorded file, then the recorded video is displayed on the screen. Please make sure to install the relative players before the above operation.
u  Web camera
You can use this device as a webcam after the webcam driver software is installed, and switch resolution converting key to “QVGA” mode, then the standard video equipment will appear, indicating web camera function works.
Because this driver has no automatic unload function, the system will default to unload the driver for even installation times and delete some driving files, thus the web camera function fail to work. If it happens, please reinstall the driver.
u  Playback on TV
Under standby mode, connect the camera with the TV by using the AV cable. Please connect the AV port to black connector of the device, and red port to video port while white line to audio port. The screen will show the last recorded video. Press function button once, device will begin to display video, while press it again to stop playing. Press function button for a few seconds, the former video file will be accessed to.
l  Attention
1.    When the device is lack of battery when taking video, the system will save the video data first, then it shuts down automatically.
2.    When taking video continually, the system will automatically generate a new video file after each operation.
3.    In the adequate light environment, keep the DV vertical and stable, you can get best video and images within a certain distance.
4．The time of PC recognizing the device is different according to its different system and configuration, so please not operate during recognizing. If the device can’t be recognized, please check your computer’s operation system, device drivers, USB port and the USB cable is normal, and then connect the hardware again. 
5.  As the device has built-in high-capacity polymer lithium battery, so it has a memory effect. We advise in the first 5 times of usage, charge the battery fully after the battery is out of use, so that the battery can work with its max working hours perfectly.

3)     Make sure insert the SD card into the slot before use, if no card, the device will power off antomatically in 15 seconds. If no card before power on, it’s easy to go dead.   
4)     Connect to computer: the time for computer with different system or configuration to identify the hardware is slightly different. During this period, please wait for a moment. If computer can’t identify, please make sure your operating system, drivers and USB interface cable in good work order, then connect again.
5)     Under a bright environment, keep camera vertical, stable and keep certain distance from the scene you want to record in order to achieve a best effect .
