l  Operation
u  Switch On
Turns the change over switch to the right side, long press the Power on/off /Function button for a few seconds under the Power off mode, the blue light keeps on, and the camera comes to the standby mode.
Attention: under any mode, the device will turn off automatically within 3 minutes if no operation.
u  Video Recording
1)     Under the standby mode, press the Power on/off /Function button about 3 seconds, the red light flash and blue light dies out, which indicates the camera is recording.
2)     Shortly press the Power on/off /Function button again, the video file will be saved automatically, the red light dies out and blue light keeps on, the device will turn back to the standby mode.
Attention: during recording mode, video files will be automatically saved for each 30 minutes to ensure the image quality.
 
u  Photo Taking
Under the power off mode, long press the Power on/off /Function button for a few seconds, the red light and blue light turns on, the red light dies out when the blue light keeps on after initialization completed, which indicates the camera turns into the standby mode.
Press the Power on/off /Function button shortly, the blue light flash once showing 3 pictures was took and the device turns back to the photo standby mode automatically. If you want to take more pictures, shortly press the power on/off button again.
u  Audio recording
Under the standby mode, push the mode switch to the right side of audio recording, red light keeps on and blue light flash, the device will turn into the audio recording mode, if push the mode switch to the left side, the audio files will be saved automatically and turn back to the standby mode, blue light keeps on, if press the Power on/off /Function button for more than 3 seconds, the camera will save the file and turns off.
u  Mode switch
1)    Under the recording or standby mode, push the mode switch to the right side, the device will start audio recording immediately, and will enter into the webcam mode at the same time.
2)    Under the audio recording mode, push the mode switch to the left side, the device will enter into the photo and video standby mode.
Attention: If change the video recording mode into audio recording, the camera will save the video file before it turns into the audio mode.
u  Switch Off
1)     Under any mode, long press the power on/off button, the red light and blue light turn off at the same time, showing the device is power off.
2)     Under the standby mode, the camera will turns off automatically if no operations for 3 minutes.
3)     Insert the clip into the reset hole to power off.
4)     With a full disk space or under low battery status, the red light and blue light flash for 5 seconds at the same time and save the recording files, the device is power off.
u  Reset
Under incorrect operation or an uncertain reason, the device may stop working, insert the clip into the reset hole to reset the device, and the device will turns to the power off mode.
Attention: If reset the device during the video mode, the video files will not be saved.
u  Writing
Rotate the pen to write, if rotate to the opposite direction, the refill will back to the cover.
u  Charging
Under power off mode, connect the camera with the charger to charge. The red light and green light on the charger keeps on while being charged. If fully charged, the green light on the charger dies out and the red light on the charger keeps on.
u  Video Playback
Under power off mode, connect the camera to computer via USB cable and play back videos on your computer. Please ensure there is the playback software installed in your computer before connecting.
u  Time Setting
There is a function which showing the time of video files, set the time correctly as follows:
1)     Insert the user manual CD into the computer, then, open the file: update time tool V2.0
2)     Click the tool, then the time of the pen camera will be the same as your computer
3)     If you want to change the video time, just adjust the time of your computer
l  Webcam
The device can be use as a web camera, but you have to install the driver named “STK02N 2.0.exe”in your CD before using.
Under the power off mode, push the mode switch to the right side, then, connect the pen camera to your PC via the USB cable, a standard web camera will appear in the screen that you can use it at ease as a webcam.
Note: as this driver has no automatic uninstall function, the system will default uninstall driver software when even installed, and delete some driver files, please re-install a driver if happens and then, the device can be normally use.
l  Attention
1)     The camera will turns off automatically if no operation within 3 minutes.
2)     When the device is lack of battery when taking video, the system will save the video data first, and shut down automatically.
3)     New video files will be created automatically if operate during the video recording.
4)     Please keep the camera recording in a surrounding of bright enough and make it stable to get the best video effect.
5)     Document saving need a certain time, please do not operate when the red light turns from green lights, such as press any buttons, or connect the pen to the computer and so on, these operations can lead to problems of fail to save the file,  even broke the file or lost files, crash the device, etc
 
6)     The indicator will turn back to the standby mode if the disk is full, operations is not available at the same time.
7)     Connect to computer: according to the computer configuration or system differences, please do not carry out any operation when connected to computers. If unable to identify, please ensure the operating system, driver, USB port, and reconnect again.
