l  Operation
u  Switch on/ Recording video
Under power off mode, long press the power on/ off &function button to switch on, the blue light keeps on, after 10s , green light flashes once and then off , the camera starts to recording, short press the same button, green light flashes once and blue light keeps on, video files are saved and the device is back to standby mode.
Attn: during recording, system will save a video file automatically each 30minutes.
u  Record audio alone
Under video standby mode, continuously short press power on/ off &function button twice, blue light flashes slowly to enter into audio mode, short press the same button again, blue light keeps on, audio files are saved and the device is back to standby mode.
u  Taking photos
Under video standby mode, continuously short press power on/ off &function button for 3 times, blue light & green light flashes alternately to enter into photo shooting mode, short press the same button again, the device will repeat twice actions that blue light flashes 3 times, 2 photos are saved and the device is back to standby mode, at that time, blue light & green light flashes alternately, and press power on /off /function button for three times, blue light keeps on, the device will be back to video standby mode.
u  Motion detection
Under video standby mode, continuously press power on /off /function button 4 times, blue light& green light flashes slowly, to enter into motion detection standby mode; when detected screen is moving , the system automatically enter into the motion detection state, at this time, blue light& green light flashes simultaneously;  when the detected screen is still, the system automatically stops recording after a few seconds, and saves the video file, and then back to motion detection standby mode, then blue light &green light flashes slowly at the same time; continuously press the same button 4 times again, blue light keeps on, and back to the video state.
u  Switch off
Under standby mode, press the power on /off /function button for 3 seconds, green light flashes 10 times and then off , which indicates device has been shut down. Or tap the reset button with a clip to turn off
In the following cases, the system will automatically save the video data and shut down:
1)     When the power is low, blue light will blink continuously after a few seconds, the machine will automatically save the video file and shut down
2)     When disk space is full, blue and green lights flash for a few seconds, the machine will automatically save the video file, and shut down,
3)     Under standby mode, without any operation in 3 minutes, the machine will automatically shut down to save power
u  Reset
Under incorrect operation or a certain reason, the device may stop working, at this time, insert the clip into the reset hole to reset, then the device is under power off mode.
Note: In the video / audio / motion detection mode with the clip to reset, the video / audio / motion detection files will not be saved.
u  Writing
Rotate the pen to write, change the pen refill once it is out of usage.
u  Charging
Under power off mode, connect the camera to computer via USB cable and charge it. The blue light keeps twinkling while being charged. When the blue light keeps on, it shows that the camera is fully charged.
Or charge with power supply, connect the pen camera with power supply, then connect with plug, the blue light keeps twinkling while being charged. When the blue light keeps on, it shows that the camera is fully charged.
Attention: If the device is of low electricity, blue light flashes slowly then off, the device will power off.
u  Playback video
Connect the camera to computer via USB cable and play back video on computer. Please make sure there is the playback software in the computer before connecting.
u  Setting time
Please set the time correctly as follows, the date & time stamp will be showed on video files.
1)     Connect the device with the computer, there will be a removable disk
2)     Create a txt file named: time.txt, edit the date & time as 20111212121212 (4 digits for year, 2 digits for month, 2 for day, 2 for hour, 2 for minute, 2 for second)
3)     Copy the time.txt to the root disk of the removable disk
4)     Pull the device out of computer, then power on the device again, the time will be reset.
u  Web cam
This item can be used as PC CAM, the original software STK03N.exe must be installed before using it.
Under the power off state, use USB cable to connect computer, long press the power on/off button for 3 seconds, blue light turns off, you will see standard video equipment will appear on the computer, double click this equipment and it can be as PC CAM.
u  Video resolution setting
The video resolution can be set as1280x720/640x480/352x288 as below:
1.    Connect the device with the computer, there will be a removable disk
2.    Edit a TXT.file named FrameSize , when writing 0 in the file, the resolution will be set to 1280x720; When writing 1, the resolution will be 640x480; when writing 2, the resolution will be 352x288.
3.    Copy the time.txt to the root disk of the removable disk
4.    Pull the device out of computer, then power on the device again, the time will be reset, or click the FrameSize.txt in the manual CD to change.
5.    Password protection
The disk has password protection function, for the detailed operation, please turn to the file: password protection in the manual CD.
l  Attention
1)     When the device is lack of battery when taking video, the system will save the video data first, then shut down automatically.
2)     Connecting computer: while connecting, do not do any operation, if the device cannot be recognized by computer, please check the computer system, driver, USB port, USB cable, then reconnect.
3)     As the devise has built-in high-capacity polymer lithium battery, so it has a memory effect .We advise in the first 5 times of usage, charge the battery fully after the battery is out of use, so that the battery can work with its max working hours perfectly.
4)     While resetting, just a little strength is enough.
