l Operation
u Switch on
To start the device, insert a Micro-SD card, then push power on button upwards.
u Recording video & audio
1) Push the Switch button downwards, press the Function Button for 2 seconds, yellow light turns on, 2 seconds later, blue light turns on, it comes to standby mode.
2) Press the Function Button for once, the blue light blinks, it starts recording video and audio at the same time.
3) Press the Function Button once, the blue light stop blinking and keeps on, the video file is saved and the camera back to standby mode.
u Taking photo
Understand standby mode, push the Switch button upwards, the red light keeps on. Press the Function Button once, the red light blinks once then keeps on again, indicating one photo is taken and the camera back into standby mode.
u Recording audio alone (two methods)
1) Under standby mode, push the Switch button downwards, press the Function Button for 2 seconds, red light twinkles, indicating the audio is recorded
2) Under standby mode, push the Switch button upwards, red light turns on, press the Function Button for 2 seconds, red light blinks, indicating the audio is recorded.
Press the Function Button once, the audio will be saved and the camera back into standby mode, the red light will keeps on.
Attention: without any operation under standby mode, the camera will power off automatically within 1 minute.
u Switch off
Under standby or recording mode, push the power off button downwards.
Attention: while recording, the file cannot be saved if power off direct.
u Used as Web camera
Insert the user manual CD into computer, find and install the inside web camera driver software, after that, connect the gum camera via USB cable with computer, push the Switch button upwards, a web camera will show on computer. At this time, light of the gum camera turns blue and yellow light keeps blinking, the web camera functions.
u Setting time
When using the device for the first time, you can reset the time through the following way:
1) Connect the gum camera with computer
2) Create a new “ time.txt” file
3) Edit time as format: 2009.12.12 12:12:12 in the file
4) Copy the file to the root disk of the camera
5) Exit the gum camera from computer.
6) When starting the camera again next time, the time will be simultaneous as the time file.
u Charging
Under power off mode, connect the camera to computer via USB cable and charge it. The yellow light twinkles while being charged. When the yellow light keeps on, it shows the camera is fully charged.
If the device if of low electricity, red light flashes slowly.
Attention: while recording, the file cannot be saved if power off direct.
u Used as Web camera

u Playback video
Put the switch button downward, connect the camera to computer via USB cable and play back video on computer. Please make sure there is a player software in the computer before connecting.
l Attention
1) The system will power off automatically if no operation within 1 minute to save the power.
2) When the device is lack of battery when taking video, the system will save the video data first, then shut down automatically.
3) When taking video continually, the system will automatically generate a new video file after each operation.
4) In the adequate light environment, keep the DV vertical and stable, you can get best video and images within a certain distance.
5) As the device has built-in high-capacity polymer lithium battery, so it has a memory effect .We advise in the first 5 times of usage, charge the battery fully after the battery is out of use, so that the battery can work with its max working hours perfectly.
6) If you want to read the data please push the switch button downward before connecting it with the computer, and only by pushing the switch button upward can the camera be used as a web camera.
