l Operation
Before operation, please press the key on/0ff button to open the key, and insert a SD card into the slot, otherwise, the red light will blink for 50 seconds and the camera will shut down automatically.
u Switch on
Long press the power on/off/save button, the camera begins to initialize system, and the red and blue light turn on. After initialization, the blue light is off, red light keeps on, the camera is under standby mode.
Attention: under standby mode, the device will switch off automatically within 3 minutes without any operation
u Recording video by manual
Under standby mode, long press record/photo button, red light flashes 6 times then turns off, indicating the camera starts to record video and audio. Short press the power on/off/save button, the red light turns on, the video is saved, the camera backs to standby mode.
Attention:
1) To make sure to save video profile, the video will be saved automatically for every 15 minutes in the process of recording.
2) To check the working condition of the camera, please short press the motion detection button, the red light will blink for 6 times and then off.
u Taking photo
Under standby mode, short press the record/photo button, the red light blinks once, one photo is taken and saved. The red light keeps on, and the camera backs to standby mode.
u Recording audio and video by motion detection
Under standby mode, long press the motion detection switch, the red and blue light blink for 6 times and then off, the camera is under motion detection mode. When the surrounding objects are moving, the blue light blinks once, and the camera starts to record. Short press the motion detection switch, you can check the working condition, the red and blue light blink for 6 times and off. Short press the power on/off/save button again, the red light keeps on, the camera stop recording and backs to standby mode.
Attention:
To make sure to save video profile, the video will be saved automatically for every 3 minutes in the process of recording until there is no moving around.
u Switch off
Under any mode, long press power on/off/save button, the camera will shut down, all the profile will be saved.
u Reset
When the camera cannot work normally under incorrect operation, you insert a clip into the reset hole, then it will work normally again. Please keep a normal strength.
Attention: press the reset button to shut down the camera, the profile cannot be saved.
u Charging
Under power off or standby mode, connect the camera to computer via USB cable or charger. The blue light blinks and red light keeps on. When the power is full, blue light is off and red light keeps on.
When it is in low power, the red light will blink fast.
Attention: the camera is built in Lithium battery, which is unable to collect memory. Therefore, please use up the battery and recharge it full enough in the first 5 times to make sure standard battery working time.
u Playback
Under power off mode, connect the camera to the computer by USB cable, so the files can be played in the computer. Before connecting please make sure the computer has been installed the related playing software.
u Setting Date and Time for video
The software has the function of showing date and time on the right and below corner of the video file. To set the date time, please operate as follows:
1) Create a file of “2010.12.12 12:12:12” named “time.txt”.
2) Copy the file to the root disk of the camera.
3) When restart the camera next time, the date and time will be simultaneous as the set time.
u Webcam
This equipment can be used as a webcam, the driver software PC camera STK02N 2.0.exe must be installed into computer first.
Under any mode without SD card, or power on mode with SD card, connect the camera with PC, there is standard video equipment on the computer, you can use its web camera function.
l Attention
1) The camera has the function of cycle recording. When the memory is full, it will automatically delete the early videos according to time schedule.
2) Do not use the camera in a hot, dusty and moist environment.
3) Do not connect the camera to PC when it is working, otherwise, it may lead to data lost.
4) Do not scrub the camera with hard objects in case that the out appearance or other components might be damaged.
5) Do not cut off the connection when the camera is formatting, uploading, or downloading profiles, otherwise, the procedure would go wrong.
6) When use the camera as U disk, please save profiles according to the right operating methods, and make a back up of important date. Any wrong operating methods may lead to profile lost.
7) Please charge the camera before using if no use for a long time.
