l  Operation
To start the device, please insert a Micro-SD card or TF card with its metal side toward USB port.
Note: without SD card, indicator light will blink 2 minutes then goes off automatically.
u  Switch on
Under the power off mode, press the Function Button for several seconds, the indicator light turns on. 2 seconds later, light goes off which indicates that camera is under sound control mode.
u  Voice control to record video
The device will record automatically when the sound is above 65 DB. It will record 3 minutes and then stop and save the data. When the surrounding sound is above 65 DB again, it repeats the above recording.
u  Standby mode
Under voice control recording mode, press Function Button once, then indicator light keeps on. Camera returns to standby mode after saving video files.
u  Taking Photo
Under standby mode, press Function Button once, the indicator light turns off then it keeps on, the photo is taken and saved.
u  Recording video
Under standby mode, press the Function Button for 2 seconds, the indicator light flashes which indicates that the camera is recording. Press the button again, indicator light keeps on, and video file will be saved and it returns to standby mode.
u  Switch off
Press the Function Button for 4 seconds, and light will flash 2 times to power off after saving video file.
u  Used as a web camera
Before using it as a web camera, install a driver in the user manual CD, switch on the lighter camera, then connect the camera to computer. When the video equipment appears, it can be used as a web camera.
u  Charging
Camera will be charged both by connecting it to computer via USB cable or using a charger. Light is on during charging while off after finishing.
If the device is lack of battery while recording video, light will flashes two times and the system will save the video data first, then shut down automatically.
Attention: as the devise has built-in high-capacity polymer lithium battery, so it has a memory effect. We advise in the first 5 times of usage, charge the battery fully after the battery is out of use, so that the battery can work with its max working hours perfectly.
u  Playback video
Connect the camera to computer via USB cable and play back video on computer. Please make sure there is the playback software in the computer before connecting.
u  Setting time
There is a function which shows the video date and time in the recorded files, and will be shown when playback. Please set the time correctly as follows:
1)     Connect the camera to computer
2)     Create a txt file named “TIME.TXT”
3)     Edit the file according to the format: 2010.12.12 12:12:12
4)     Copy the file to the root of the disk of the camera, then pull the device out from computer
5)     The time will be reset when restart the camera again next time.
l  Attention
1)     To conserve energy, camera will go off automatically if there is not any operation under standby mode.
2)     If the device is lack of battery while recording video, the system will save the video data first, and then shuts down automatically.
3)   When taking video continually, the system will automatically generate a new video   
file after each operation and save it every 30 minutes, and then continue to record.
4)     Under a bright environment, keep camera vertical, stable and keep certain distance from the scene you want to record in order to achieve a best effect .
5)     The file being saved need some time, do not operate during the green light turning red, such as press any buttons or connect it to computer, or the file would not be saved completely even lost.
6)     No operation is feasible when the memory is full, at this time system returns to standby mode.
7)     The time of PC recognizing the hardware is different according to its different system and configuration, so please not operate during recognizing. If the hardware can’t be recognized, please check your computer’s operation system, device drivers, USB port and the USB cable is normal, and then connect the hardware again.
